Student Resources
This page provides a variety of resources from our resume book to graduation requirements and campus resources!
Undergraduate Council
The Undergraduate Council is a group of five students who want to get more involved with NSBE and try out leadership in a real way. As part of UGC, you’ll get to see how the executive board funcitons, but you’ll also have the freedom to take charge and plan events of your own.
It’s a chance to step up, grow your confidence, and make an impact on campus - all while being supported by a team that wants to see you succeed. If you’ve ever thought about being more active in NSBE or building leadership skills for the future, this is the perfect place to start.
Graduate Liaison
Our Graduate Liaison is the bridge between graduate students and the chapter board, making sure graduate voices are heard and represented.
In this role, you’ll help connect graduate students to resources, events, and professional development opportunities, while also building mentorship and collaboration between undergraduates and graduates. You’ll also share feedback to help shape programming that supports graduate student success.
Shadow Initiative
The NSBE E-Board Shadowing Program is designed to give freshmen and general body members a closer look into leadership roles within our chapter. Through this initiative, participants will have the opportunity to shadow a current E-Board member over the course of one week, gaining insight into their responsibilities, decision-making processes, and day-to-day operations.
Resume Book
Out VT NSBE Resume Book is designed to provide recruiters and hiring managers with exclusive access to resumes of VT NSBE members who are actively seeing job or internship opportunities. Companies may directly contact you for a job opportunity straight from your resume! This resume book will be going out before Engineering Expo and before CAMEO. Stay tuned for deadline submissions for each occurrence.
Feedback Form
This survey is designed to help us better understand your experience and find ways to improve our organization. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us grow, and we want to ensure every member feels heard and valued. It's completely anonymous, so please be honest! We want to do our best for our members!
Alumni Network
